CHIHUAHUENSES RUMBO A TOKIO
Con gran entusiasmo y pasión por el deporte, los chihuahuenses se preparan para las últimas etapas de clasificación a los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio; hasta el momento tres deportistas y un entrenador tienen asegurado su lugar en el evento.
Otros deportistas se encuentran en espera de las próximas competencias programadas para este fin de semana, de salir vencedores, asegurarán su pase a los Juegos Olímpicos edición 2020 y de esta manera sumarse a los cuatro chihuahuenses confirmados hasta el momento.
Jorge Montes es un atleta de 800 metros planos y se prepara para dejar una marca mínima de 1:45:20 en su última competencia programada para este fin de semana en Querétaro. Cuenta con una marca personal de 1:46:63.
Poniendo en alto a la mujer chihuahuense, Tamara Vega se perfila a su última competencia para sumar puntos en el clasificatorio individual femenil dentro del Campeonato Mundial de Pentatlón Moderno en El Cairo.
Luego de competir en Francia, Mónaco y España, la nadadora Melissa Rodríguez se encuentra en espera de la publicación de los atletas que participarán en las olimpiadas.
Horacio Nava, Andrés Olivas y el entrenador Miguel Ángel Rodríguez serán el conjunto de chihuahuenses que representarán al Estado en la disciplina de marcha.
Entre los cuatro deportistas confirmándose hasta el momento se encuentra Daniela Martínez Mariscal, atleta en la disciplina de Para-Taekwondo quién clasificó en el 2020, y recién tuvo participación en el Campeonato Panamericano de Especialidad en Taekwondo en Cancún, donde obtuvo el primer lugar en su categoría.
