EATON SIGUE APOSTANDO POR INVERSIÓN EN CD. JUÁREZ
Después de un año difícil para la industria manufacturera y maquiladora, la empresa Eaton da esperanza al gremio al inaugurar su nueva planta en Ciudad Juárez Eaton ICD Frontera, en la colonia Lote Bravo, que generará 210 empleos en la entidad.
Engalanando el evento, se presentó el subsecretario de Innovación y Desarrollo Económico, Rodolfo Vázquez, quien destacó la inversión realizada por la empresa en la localidad.
“Asistimos a la apertura de una planta nueva de Eaton, de una división nueva que están trayendo a Juárez, lo más novedoso de esto, lo que hay que destacar, es que es una planta de clase mundial, lo que desde Gobierno hemos estado buscando”, enfatizó.
Las tres plantas de Eaton generarán más de mil quinientos empleos directos en la ciudad, lo que aporta al crecimiento económico de la región y a la reactivación económica del estado.
“El Gobierno ha estado empujando para que las corporaciones y las diferentes compañías localizadas en el estado traigan más infraestructura y procesos de tecnología y clase mundial”, comentó Vázquez en relación.
Esta nueva planta de Eaton se suma a las dos más que ya existen en Juárez en el Parque Industrial Omega, las cuales pertenecen al corporativo cuya base se localiza en Cleveland, Ohio, en Estados Unidos, la cual emplea a más de 72 mil personas en el mundo.
Eaton, empresa líder mundial en tecnología de productos eléctricos, se dedica a la fabricación de transformadores eléctricos y equipo eléctrico, fusibles múltiples desde automotriz hasta navales.
El corporativo cuenta con cinco divisiones: automotriz, aeroespacial, hidráulica, industrial y eléctrica, con presencia en Inglaterra, Sudáfrica, Indonesia, Japón, China, Estados Unidos, y por supuesto, México.
