“NECESITAMOS A LAS JÓVENES CON GANAS DE INCURSIONAR EN LA POLÍTICA”: BLANCA GÁMEZ
En una entrevista exclusiva para Pro Chihuahua, la presidenta del congreso, Blanca Gámez Gutiérrez, dio a conocer los retos que atravesó durante su vida política para llegar al puesto que ocupa en la actualidad.
Con casi 36 años dentro de la política, señala que el camino no es fácil, sin embargo, está lleno de satisfacciones, pues ha logrado apoyar a muchas mujeres con las iniciativas promovidas en el tiempo que ha ocupado un puesto en el congreso del estado.
Indica que lo más difícil es iniciar, dar el primer paso, problemática que no se ve reflejada en las nuevas generaciones, ya que las mujeres de hoy en día se ven preparadas y con todas las ganas de comerse el mundo.
“Ver a las mujeres en la actualidad, con tanto ímpetu e iniciativa y llenas de talento me hace pensar que ellas tienen una mayor decisión para incursionar en la política, del que nosotras tuvimos” -Blanca Gámez
La presidenta del congreso señala que durante los años ha sido testigo de los cambios que se han visto no solo en el estado, sino también en el país, y se considera una fiel creyente de que estos cambios no habrían llegado sin la participación activa de las mujeres en la política.
Con iniciativas tales como; La violencia política en contra de la mujer por razón de género, la Ley de igualdad, La Ley de violencia, así como el aumento en las instancias para mujeres y la incursión de los presupuestos sensibles al género.
“Por esa razón las mujeres deben de estar en el congreso, porque aún existen muchas problemáticas que desconocemos y las necesitamos, para conocer de sobre los nuevos temas y así poder impulsarlos. “-Blanca Gámez
Esta increíble mujer reconoce los cambios que se han dado a lo largo de los años en la legislación, pues aclara son innegables, así como que estos han ido acompañados y en ocasiones, promovidos por hombres que creen en la perspectiva de género, sin embargo, piensa que todavía el piso no está muy firme para decir que se tiene una participación plena de mujeres.
Lo anterior debido a que del año 2019 al 2020, se ha visto una disminución de la participación de las mujeres en la política en el estado de Chihuahua.
Finalmente, señala que el próximo proceso electoral servirá para ver cómo se comportan con la participación de candidatas a puestos públicos.
