La Universidad de Deusto; las Universidades Iberoamericana de la Ciudad de México, León, Puebla, Tijuana y Torreón; el ITESO; el Instituto superior intercultural Ayuuk; y el Tecnológico Universitario del Valle de Chalco extienden la invitación para participar en el premio Ada Byron a la mujer tecnóloga.
El premio conmemora su segunda edición en México y busca reconocer y visibilizar la trayectoria de tecnologías actuales, que tienen su referencia en las mujeres científicas que llevan siglos haciendo aportaciones relevantes en distintas disciplinas.
La convocatoria va dirigida a mexicanas mayores de edad, que posean titulación universitaria superior de ingeniería o ciencias o bien, haber desarrollado su carrera profesional en el ámbito tecnológico o científico.
Entre los patrocinadores de este galardón, se encuentra Microsoft México y AT & T que el año pasado otorgaron el premio Ada Byron a la mexicana María de los Ángeles Guzmán Puente, por sus aportaciones en temas de aplicación e innovación tecnológica en los procesos de saneamiento de agua.
