¿Regreso de fotomultas?
Consejo Consultivo de Vialidad propondrá medida a gobernadora y se generan opiniones divididas entre autoridades.
El presidente del Consejo Consultivo de Vialidad, Fernando Hinojos, dio a conocer que el regreso de las fotomultas ya fue propuesto a la próxima gobernadora del Estado, María Eugenia Campos, y nos habla de los beneficios de esta medida. Sin embargo, parece que no todos concuerdan.
Hinojos señaló que buscan reformar la ley actual con el objetivo de que las nuevas tecnologías permitan infraccionar y en este sentido administrar de una mejor manera las vialidades en la ciudad, debido a que muchos ciudadanos cometen infracciones al ser conscientes de la impunidad que existe; además de que los agentes de Vialidad no pueden dar cobertura a todas las faltas, no obstante, la tecnológica sí cuenta con la capacidad de lograrlo.
Durante el 2016, resaltó, cuando esta medida fue implementada no se registraban números altos de muertes por accidentes viales, como por el exceso de velocidad, pero una vez que dejaron de existir dichas medidas el número volvió a incrementar.
Autoridades opinan
Las opiniones en contra no se hicieron esperar, entre ellas la del diputado panista Miguel La Torre, quien señaló que la medida no puede ser realizada debido a la inversión millonaria en tecnología que representa.
El político recordó que durante su implementación se registraron numerosas irregularidades en las multas hechas a través de las cámaras, razón por la que se atribuía a un fin recaudatorio.
Por su parte, Francisco Santini, presidente del Consejo Coordinador Empresarial, se manifestó a favor de que se opere un control electrónico de velocidad; sin embargo, concordaron en que este debe de estar orientado a la prevención y no a la recaudación.
Aunque hasta el momento no existe una opinión por parte de María Eugenia Campos el tema genera opiniones divididas, sobre todo en redes sociales, pues, aunque muchos lo consideran una excelente medida, otros opinan que no es lo ideal y no funcionó anteriormente.
